In fifth and sixth grade, our students become members of the CIA. Our young Christians in Action dive deeper into their own faith, and participate in lessons and projects that help them build on what they’ve learned in Sunday School. Students learn to serve others in our congregation and community while they are actively engaging in their own faith-forming journeys.

Faith-Building Lessons
Verses, stories, videos and more help our fifth and sixth graders learn more about their faith and how to put it into action. Classes have been held in person and online, with extra learning opportunities and fun activities scheduled throughout the year.

Service to Others
Fifth and sixth grade students have many opportunities to share their faith with others! Service is a big part of the CIA program! Students have participated in projects like cleaning outdoor areas, raising funds for war-torn countries through a craft and bake sale, packing breakfast bags for the Ronald MacDonald House, and creating a Little Free Library. More helpful community projects are in the works!
