Open Hearts

Food Shelf

Fighting food insecurity is more important than ever, and we're ready to begin this community-driven project at SUMC.

To support and enhance the important work started by Stewartville's Little Free Pantries, the Open Hearts Food Shelf will offer food and basic necessities to our friends in need.

- The Monthly Mission -

August

Help us spread love each month by joining us for The Monthly Mission!

Your donations will be used to support the mission of the Open Hearts Food Shelf and will help to feed our neighbors in need.

Many thanks for your continued generous support!

How can you help?

Every can of soup, every box of cereal, every hour volunteered, and every act of kindness helps strengthen our community.

At Open Hearts Food Shelf, we believe that no one should have to choose between paying bills and putting food on the table. Families, seniors, veterans, individuals, and children in our community rely on the food shelf during difficult seasons—whether it's because of job loss, rising grocery costs, unexpected medical expenses, or other life challenges.

Your support allows us to provide nutritious food and essential household items to neighbors who need them most. Together, we can ensure that every person who walks through our doors is met with compassion, dignity, and hope.

No gift is too small. Every donation, every volunteer, and every helping hand makes a meaningful impact on the lives of local families.

Thank you for helping us build a stronger, more caring community—one neighbor at a time.
